NPB Art Studio Studio News 4 star restaurant group, outdoor mural, the windsor

Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio was hired by 4 Star Restaurant Group to paint a large outdoor sign promoting their new Streeterville restaurant, The Windsor, in cheery sophisticated lettering. Located in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood, 4 Star calls The Windsor “Crosby Kitchen’s urban cousin”. Studio artists used weatherproof paint for a cheery, durable mural in line with the restaurant’s classy yet cozy aesthetic. Thanks to studio artists Brittney Williams and Brandin Hurley for their help on this project.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
