The Ounce

The Ounce is an organization committed to elevating the importance of early-age education, nurturing relationships, and stimulating environments for all children. Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio recently had the wonderful experience of helping to create a promotional video for this non-profit. Hired by Teamworks Media, our studio artists took the project from storyboards through set design.

First, we designed 17 large, texturized, faux-pavement boards. Then, studio artists illustrated a childlike chalk-world within which real kids could interact during filming. The children floated among shooting stars, were carried away by colorful balloons, and helped each other across chalk bridges. A big thanks to studio artists Shayne Taylor and Brandin Hurley for their work on this fun and fulfilling project!
