A Chalk Proposal with Leffe Beer

Nancy Pochis Bank Studio was hired by the St. Louis ad agency Group 360 to design and create a mockup restaurant chalkboard that highlights Leffe Beer. We were to imagine that the finished product would be displayed in a popular Chicago restaurant, so we chose Girl and the Goat, in our city’s West Loop.

The resulting restaurant chalkboard not only announces chef suggestions and restaurant news, it also conveys the spirit of Leffe Beer while upholding the unique aesthetic of Girl and the Goat.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
