Forbidden Root, a brewery in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood, hired Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio to create their signature chalk art hand lettered signage for the mobile Jockey Boxes at their highly anticipated product launch event at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. The Studio described each of Forbidden Root’s craft botanical beers in custom hand-lettered chalk art on small chalkboards attached to each of the Jockey Boxes. Switching mediums, the Studio painted the company’s rustic logo on three wooden signs using trompe l’oeil effects to create a burnt, branded look.
