Chicago Cultural Mile Canvas Backdrop Mural

Chicago Cultural Mile’s marketing agency Flirt Communications hired Pochis Bank Art Studio to design and create a painted mural backdrop for their Halloween Happening. They wanted to showcase the Chicago landmarks and cultural highlights from the Chicago Cultural Center to the Museum Campus.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
