Amdur Productions, an art festival production company, hired Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio to create giant chalk reproductions of famous art masterpieces on the pavement at their Gold Coast and Port Clinton art festivals. Festival attendees were surprised and impressed to find Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio artists working on the pavement between the traditional booths of crafts and artwork. Attendees participated in the live artowrk by responding to the prompt “Art makes me…” on the Studio’s mobile outdoor chalkboard.
Inspired by the Impressionism, Fashion and Modernity Exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago, Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio along with Tracee Badway reproduced two 12′ x 12′ Impressionist masterpieces: Gustave Caillebotte’s “Paris Street Rainy Day” and Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s “Two Sisters on the Terrace.”
