Pavement Chalk Art: A Creative Wedding Proposal

This 17-foot-wide chalk mural took ten hours to complete. Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio was commissioned by a romantic young fellow whose girlfriend loves London. He used our chalk art to for a very creative wedding proposal on July 3rd. We also made a trail of chalk art leading from her house to the mural.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
