Frontline Foundations “Hooked On Art” Festival- 2013
A few weeks ago, Nancy traveled to Chesterton, IN to participate as a volunteer artist at Fontline Foundation‘s 2nd annual art festival, “Hooked on Art”. You may remember our Dr. Seuss-inspired mural from last year’s festival, when we were honored to be a featured artist as well. Just like last year, the weather was beautiful and the whole day was a wonderful experience.
Frontline Foundations is a Certified Addiction Services Outpatient Treatment Provider. In their words, “The mission of Frontline is to serve as a source of hope to young men and women suffering from drug and alcohol abuse while also providing an effective treatment and recovery support system.”
Below you can see some of Nancy’s process, beginning with a grid to plan her layout and finishing with selective coloring on the chalk fish.
Check out the Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio facebook page to see even more photos from the event!
