agencyEA: Pavement Mural for an Open House

Nancy Pochis Bank Studio was hired by Chicago’s agencyEA to create some fun images for a celebratory open house in their new bi-level office space. Our creativity was inspired by the new space’s spiral staircase, etched glass, and the words agencyEA uses to motivate their staff. Who is that Banana Man you ask? That is the creation of artist Left Handed Wave who created original artwork for the agencyEA offices. He graciously gave us permission to use his Banana Man in this pavement mural.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
